Well known for his innovative solutions to difficult Real Estate issues, Mr. Stone has been practicing for over 40 years with emphasis on Real Estate matters. Until 2014, his offices were in the Silicon Valley, but have now been moved to Santa Cruz. He continues to represent clients on "Both Sides of the Hill".

A graduate from Boalt Hall School of Law, U.C. Berkeley, in 1969 where he was a Moot Court competition winner. He co-authored a book on Foreclosure Law in 1982. Mr. Stone has always had a keen interest in Foreclosure Law, representing Foreclosure Trustees, Foreclosing Lenders and Victims of Wrongful Foreclosures. During his career, he has also represented Title Companies, Banks, Real Estate Developers, Contractors, Brokers, Agents, Mortgage Companies, and numerous Property Owners, Buyers and Sellers.

After being the name partner in a multi-attorney firm for 15+ years, he opted to go solo in 1992, and has provided his clients a personal, one-on-one representation.
